We stopped at the Sugar Shack after driving through the beautiful Vermont countryside and visiting the covered bridges in the area.
In Arlington everyone we met has a connection to Norman Rockwell and the Sugar Shack was no exception, in fact it gave us a better insight into his life than anywhere else we visited.
The walls in this rustic shop are covered with his works plus there were photographs of some of the characters in his works (most from Arlington), a then and now perspective.
In fact while we were there one of Mr. Rockwell's was providing visitors from New Mexico a facinating history lesson.
The two hours we spent here was well worth it.
By the way.....they sell an excellent maple syrup...Enjoy!
