I hadn’t been to Rustler in 10 years or so and not much has changed, which is a good thing. Still gives great access to Alta skiing, followed by a trip to the bar and then the pool at the end of the day. The food and the service are still excellent and there are many familiar faces among management and a handful of the guests. On the day we left, we rejected the front desk’s advice to book a van instead of an Uber, which turned out to be a mistake, at which point the manager offered her personal car to get us to the airport. Now that’s service!

We have been visiting the Rustler Lodge for over 20 years. The Lodge invests in itself and remains well kept, warm, clean, and inviting. All staff are and always have been genuine and interested in making your stay great. The food is amazing - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lounge is beautiful with wood, glass, and a large fireplace in the middle of the room. The pool, hot tubs, steam room, and spa are clean and very nice. The ski in/ski out convenience and on mountain views are fantastic. We recommend Rustler Lodge with no hestitation.

We had gone to The Rustler Lodge for many years and ALWAYS loved it but hadn't been back to Alta for a while. We finally made it back and booked The Rustler, and everything was as good or better than we remembered! The staff were friendly, warm and great, and even remembered us(!), the food is spectacular and abundant, and the accommodations perfect. The lodge is still rustic and warm/inviting, but it has been updated beautifully. I've stayed at almost every lodge at the base of Alta and think this is one of the best, if not the best.
