If you're visiting Austin on a low budget and you have a car, look no further, this is the place to go.
The room was very clean and equipped with just about anything you can imagine, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the wi-fi was fully functional (I stayed once four days in a 4-star hotel in Chicago that claimed to offer free wi-fi and could not get connected a single second during my stay), and breakfast was included (there’s even a breakfast room).
I was concerned that the motel is located on a highway, but the window had double glazing. One could still hear cars passing buy, but it wasn’t very loud.
I’ve taken a star away for its location. I didn’t have a car, there is only one bus line going Downtown and it runs every 30 minutes, at least at weekends. So it was a bit of a pain to move around. The only thing within walking distance is the university.
