Stayed the night on a Friday night, turns out it was the same weekend as the Austin motorcycle rally. Anyways, our stay was pleasant, we were tired from traveling. Got a room on the second floor, elevator was really slow, it was crowded with bikers so we took the stairs after searching 10 minutes for them. The hallways smelled "smoky", we're non-smokers so that was unpleasant. The room was ok, got a king size bed. Room was clean, bed and sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean. Had a fridge and microwave too. The bed wasn't too comfy, it was too soft and seemed to dip to one side, but other than that, it was alright. Breakfast was crowded, coffee was good. Overall it was a good stay.
We have stayed at this Days Inn several times now during the Motorcycle Rally, which is centrally located to downtown, the biker rally and some of the stores we like to shop at. The room was very clean and comfortable, as usual, and the staff was extremely courteous and very helpful in giving us directions and suggestions, such as to the Oasis on Lake Travis. We had a wonderful lunch at the Oasis while enjoying great views of Lake Travis and would highly recommend this restaurant. Breakfast items were diverse enough to give us a good start of the day, especially the waffles and hard boiled eggs. One suggestion we have is to have the Days Inn signs by the side entrances lit up so you can see them at night.
