“Good luncheon fare!”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

Worth a stop for lunch if you are visiting the Wildflower Center. Mostly soup & sandwiches. Well made & fresh. A good deal and pleasant outdoor seating.

“Soups, salad, sandwiches”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

Our favorite part of the cafe was the decor. Lovely colors, patio, painted chairs. We had the pimiento cheese sandwich, which had very little of the cheese spread, and an average tortilla soup.

“Very nice service but pretty dull food.”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is a real gem, the cafe is not. Too bad because everything else here is special. I always think a pimento cheese sandwich should be a treat, especially south of the Mason Dixon line. Mine was too bready The salad was pretty dull, too. So it's not about the food. Come for the flowers.

“Fresh food in a delightful setting”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

The setting was outside amidst the wildflowers and the salad was fresh with homemade dressing. The hibiscus mint tea was a treat.

“A very pleasant Restaurant”
Reviewed October 12, 2012 via mobile

Had lunch there as a break from the heat while strolling the Gardens.

The toasted turkey & Swiss was nice. Service was adequate.

As many other reviewers have stated, the Hibiscus & Mint Tea is very refreshing on a hot day! Apparently the tea is locally sourced, but not blended on the premises!
