Great Italian, modern, trendy but not pretentious. The food comes in decent sized portions, not massive but tasty and enough. Excellent wine list and swift and attentive service. The wine by the glass selection was good.

Italic, at 123 West 6th. Street, in Austin, Texas, is a very good, moderately priced, north Italian (primarily Tuscany) lunch and dinner place with a full bar, good wine and beer selections and a short menu featuring fresh seasonal produce. We just enjoyed our third lunch at Italic and we're looking forward to a dinner next month. All three of our lunches have been excellent...no complaints at all.

My husband and I had a delicious lunch at Italic! The pizza and salad were outstanding. And service was excellent. Loved the contemporary interior.

This place was amazing, all the dishes we tried were fabulous and the waitress was so good at explaining everything. The atmosphere was comfortable and very enjoyable. Dessert was fabulous! And this restraunt was not far from our hotel, and in the center of downtown.

I wasn't expecting an authentic Italian restaurant, so I wasn't disappointed by Italic. The pasta was good, nice selection of wines, good service. The mixed appetizer was great. I like to go back here when I'm in downtown. Unfortunately the coffee wasn't Lavazza, Illy or something Italian, but I guess they're using local roaster shops.
