“Sophistcated restaurant. Great Spanish wine list”

Very accomodating staff. Our party arrived and departed in stages. Not a problem for the restaurant. Offers full bar and extensive Spanish wine choices. We had paella that was prepared perfectly. Will return.

“not what I was expecting”
Reviewed October 31, 2011

Had dinner at Fino's last week. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. You can sit outside in the breeze and enjoy your meal or just cocktails. I enjoyed our appetizers, really tasty. I was very disappointed in the Paella, the flavor is not at all what Paella should be like. It was very dry and not the traditional spanish Paella.

“Not quite what it should be...”
Reviewed July 13, 2011

Had a nice dinner at Fino last night, but it just was not the tasty Spanish food we expected (we had not been there before, but we have been to Spain and to other American tapas restaurants). We had about 5 different tapas, and the taste of each one was...well, pretty mediocre. All of them improved with some salt! (and we are not big salters). Perhaps the regular cook was off that night, I just don't know. But the food was prepared and served attractively.

The service was great - we had a very attentive waitress, and also another waitress gave us a little snack from the kitchen before our food came. The sherry was good and they had a nice happy hour on certain drinks and tapas. Prices were reasonable.

We probably would not return here, unless we hear the taste of the food has improved. It has potential, but needs to take it up just a notch.

“Outstanding service, excellent food”
Reviewed June 9, 2011

We went to Fino's for my wife's birthday. We had made reservations online for that. They followed up promptly and also answered any questions on special needs. We are vegetarians and they explained to us all the options they had.

Prompt seating when we got there, excellent service from Ryyan. The food was just amazing. The Cucumber dip as well as the red pepper, walnut pomgrenate dip was truly awesome. The vegetarian Cazuella they have on their menu was another delight.

I would definitely recommend this place for special occasions or if you want to just try something new.

“Good overall, not outstanding”
Reviewed November 13, 2010

We visited Fino for dinner last night and enjoyed the overall experience, but were disappointed in some of the food items.

The menu is diverse and varied, and since we love these kinds of food, this was a perfect fit for us. It almost seemed like they tried too hard.

The fried anchovy olives were excellent, but other appetizers failed. The chicken liver mousse had a strong liver taste and was unpleasant. The crab-stuffed mini-red pepper was good, but not memorable. We give good kudos to the fried calamari, although the fancy side sauce was a bit too much for me.

We shared an excellent main entree which was an organic chicken with harissa and olives. Although this was excellent, the food was still disappointing overall.

Perhaps the best part of Fino is their homemade sparkling water. For $2pp, it is the best investment of the night. Service and atmosphere were excellent, and the outdoor seating area is downright cool.
