“Political Sattire, Majic and Coolness”
Review of Esther's Follies

We have been to the Follies several times and will go again, you betcha!

While a part of the show is repeating, there is always plenty of new material to get you laughing (leave your political affiliations at home). Have taken several friends, family of all ages and not a single one disappointed to date. The crisp wit is always refreshing and fun.

Usually sold out at the 8 p.m. show, always best to pay the extra and get a reserved seat and book it as soon as you know you're going. The later show is more relaxed as no need to clear the place quickly as after the 8 show. Unless you are a stickinthemud, this is a great show.

I have been meaning to try this place out for quite some time. It has been suggested to me by multiple friends. I tried it out last weekend and was a little disappointed.

First of all, I paid extra for reserved seating which the website billed as something that would guarantee one of the best seats in the house. I was seated all the way to the wall about half way up. Not exactly the best seat.

The venue itself is very cool, nice bar area and very friendly staff.

I guess I had expected stand up comedy which is what I enjoy. It ended up being an ongoing song and dance routine. The sound and acoustics were bad and I could barely hear.

Most of the crowd seemed to enjoy it so, maybe its just not my kind of humor.

Esther's Follies was absolutely hilarious. The best part about it is that its a magic show & singing satrical comedy. Great for all ages (not children). The stage's backside is a huge window and you can see people walking up and down 6th street. The comedians make fun of them and its absolutely hilarious! Will visit again!!! =)

Thoroughly enjoyed the show but I recommend making reservations. We arrived 20 minutes early and they were sold out, but we were fortunate enough to be the last ones let in after they released the "no-show" reserved tickets.

The show was smart, witty, and funny. Don't recommend it for kids under the age of 13 due to some adult themed content. If you sit on the aisle, be prepared to possibly get chosen to participate!!

This lives up to the reviews. Just don't expect any semblance of normality. Went on a Saturday evening with a terrible hangover and this cheered me right up. Word of advice: sit in the front row, either by the piano or on the aisle seat of the middle section - you'll get on stage and it really is worth it!

Mad, mad show; unbeatable evening. It has comedy, magic, dance...the full works and it's made so entertaining by a wonderful cast. It has really made my trip out here!
