“Austin Convention Center”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

This is an incredible building and meeting space for 100-5000 person meetings and conventions. LEED certified and artwork all over the building. A very cool place to simply visit.

“Cool Place for a Trade Show”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

Did business at the Austin Convention Center at a Trade Show. The set up was very easy and the show was excellent. The show managers had food delivered during the show the food was better than average catered food. The coffee in the morning was Starbucks and the Pastries were the same as you get at Starbucks. The hall was plenty cool during the show and some folks even complained it was too cool. Not a problem for most of us.

“Long walk to find parking”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

During the week the parking was great. During the weekend a festival was taking place. I had to walk almost a mile to a teacher fair in the Convention center while wearing heels. Many of the younger women were wearing taller and spiked heels. 5,000 people converged on the center. If you have an event at the Convention Center, take good walking shoes and put your fancy shoes in your bag.
