Beautiful gardens! The Japanese gardens were my favorite. The walk is cool even in 100 degree weather. It was perfect for my kids. Tons of water features and a great entrance price. Would go again.

These gardens are just ok. The Japanese part is pretty decent (though nowhere near as good as the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco). Other sections are severely lacking. There is a part that is supposed to have desert type plants, it literally has about a handful of cactus and that is all.

The butterfly garden had about 2 butterflies flitting around. The prehistoric part was decent, there is a large dinosaur statue and a lot of ferns.

Its all right, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. If you have an hour or 2 to burn, why not.

This is a great place to go and take pictures. Make sure you take bug spray if you go when it's hot. I recommend going when it's cooler to actually enjoy it! Beautiful area!

We loved the lush green trees and unique trails and water ways. The Japanese Garden is so peaceful and worth the trip by itself. We really enjoyed being able to walk with our little dog we are traveling with. Entry fee for non-residents is $3 per adult and a real bargain compared to most other botanical gardens.

Didn't see everything, but thoroughly enjoyed what we saw -- especially the Japanese Garden, built with love by a Japanese donor. The garden is free, but there is a small fee of $2 per person to park in their lot.
