This is a relaxing area and well worth setting time aside for a visit. You'll be happy and relaxed after just a little time walking the trails and seeing all the plants and greenery))

“Terrirfic walk and sniff!”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

They have a lovely mostly shaded path you can stroll down and see all kinds of flowers and plant life. I especially enjoyed the bamboo garden. If you want the excersise of a walk without the hazards of the hike and bike trail, it's really perfect.

“Beautiful gardens!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is a beautiful and peaceful place, always so serene feeling when visiting. Many weddings are performed here, they do charge a fee, have to check with the office but ministertogonow.com will perform them there for you!

“Just beautiful...”
Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

Can't beat the return on the tiny admission fee. It's a great walk for all ages, and will easily occupy you for a couple of hours. The pioneer village is great for kids or history buffs. But the lush vegetation (you'll be pleasantly shaded for most of the walk) is the real star. Great gardening ideas to be seen here. This is never that busy, I.e. no crowds. Everyone should do this. Go in the spring if you can.

“The most beautiful botanical garden”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

I absolutely loved Zilker Botanical Garden. Walked around for about 2 hours soaking in the beautiful smells of flowers and trees, looking at tadpoles that populate their many small ponds, admiring lily pads and a family of baby turtles.....I can't believe all the amazingly lovely sights! It's definitely much more natural than most botanic gardens I've been to.
