The staff, drinks, and barfood was excellent. The room setup is great especially if you want to meet new people.
The appeziers were unusual but very tasty and ehe prices were even better. A very good value!!

It's convenient to 6th street bars but I spent more time in the South Congress area. It's a stuffy, old hotel located in the downtown/business-y area. I was able to walk to the capital and check that out though.

Had brunch in the restaurant, it was average.

The hotel, from the outside, is very attractive. Really looks like it belongs where it sits. However, we stepped inside and were hit immediately with an overpowering smell of mold. It is a lovely place--old style charm, but I don't know how anyone could spend any time in the lobby. I felt bad for the staff--maybe they don't notice it any more. We did not see the rooms or any other parts of the hotel so maybe things improved on the upper floors.

This is a well redone antique hotel and it is lovely well appointed and maintained. I recommend it if you don't mind a few ghosts.
