Catfish, oysters and shrimp...Think FRIED!! Cold beer and fried fish, does it really get any better than this? OK, add some jalapeno tartar sauce and dig in.

Catfish fried to darkly. Best part of meal was the coleslaw and fresh cooked carrots. Was filling, but do not think I will be back.

You just can' t go wrong if you are looking for some good catfish. This is a great place to eat catfish and the best hush puppies in Central Texas.

Ive been eating there intermittenly since 1995. It used to be a really good place. Food was always fresh and available. The cole slaw is good.

The past coupld of times the place is dead. We went thought the line and Unlike times in the past they didnt have catfish cooked and made available. We had to order with the cook. Bull-crap
We were seated and we filled up on hushpuppies and french fries for nearly 20 min. before our catfish was brought out. Ridiculous. And I dont know C.P. has lost its touch. The hushpuppies tasted old. I dont thinks me going back.

Good food, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Easy to find, about 2 or 3 miles west of the Austin airport. Look for bright neon sign on south side of highway 71. Bowl of hush puppies and tarter sauce came with our menu. The place is well lit and Beatles, Beach boys and Motown music plays in the background. The food we ordered was simple, fried catfish "fresh - never frozen" with beans and slaw. DO NOT leave without ordering the banana pudding. They must add the vanilla wafers when serving because they're crunchy. Could've spent the entire evening checking out the funky stuff on the walls. Try not to act like a city slicker.
