“Great Breakfast and Great Lunch”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

This was a great place just after the SoCo strip, felt like your typical breakfast/diner spot but once you look at the menu you know it's anything but. I had an amazing bowl of fresh black beans with queso fresco that was out of this world. The accompanying corncake was a perfect addition. My wife had a great breakfast spread with a fantastic gingerbread pancake. Oh yeah and it all was dirt cheap. We had to wait a little while but the food and the value was well worth it.

“Major Breakfast !”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

Just had breakfast there 4/23...wowsers !! A delicious custom omlette, very good service and generous portions. Lot's of local art on the walls for viewing and sale. This is the place to go anytime of the day or night for great breakfast fare. Wish we'd stayed in town longer to try some of their luncheon options.

“can't get enough of this place”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

The food is delicious with a unique twist. We ate there twice this trip and brought our friends who were also visiting for a wedding. Every single one of us loved our meal. Tip, during the week, no wait. On weekends go early or the wait might be an hour.

“Good breakfast - but crowded and busy”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

We had a great breakfast here - Texas benedict for my husband, migas taco for me, with a shared peach buttermilk pancake. Food was great and service was very prompt, particularly considering the volume that morning. I would not call the atmosphere romantic or relaxed, as this place is frantically busy with tables fairly close together. Expect a wait of at leat 10 to 20 minutes, maybe longer. Somehow it works, even with the lines, crowd and a single toilet for all of the female customers. Don't plan to luxuriate over your meal.
