I had hoped this would be better than it looked. We had a large group and tried a variety of dishes. The classic Sesame Chicken, Beef with Garlic etc. nothing was remarkable. The menu didn't have a lot of descriptions. It was the same old regular Chinese restaurant menu. Nothing innovative or exciting. We had lots of leftovers, but no one was very enthusiastic about taking home doggie bags. The service was attentive, but we had to ask for several things twice.
I will say they did a great job of honoring our requests for separate checks for the 5 families there. I was hoping for a version of Suzy's down in the SW part of town. I was disappointed in everything but the sweet biscuits served at the end. The staff is very sweet I hope they can improve the menu.

We ordered take out last night and had three different entrees and the sauce all tasted the same. Very bland. Also, place is dingy, dirty bath room, etc. I wouldn't go back.

After reading some of the favorable reviews elsewhere and making note of the fact that this little restaurant is surviving despite a big (300-seat) buffet restaurant around the corner, we decided to try it.

Upon entering about 1/2 hour after they opened on Sunday, we were greeted by a pleasant man who took us to our seats, took our drink order, and suggested the lunch buffet. We agreed, knowing that a small restaurant like this wouldn't have a huge variety, but it OUGHT to be good.

They had several of the usual Chinese buffet staples - General Tso's Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Fried Rangoo, etc., and all was tasty - better than the "big" local competitor.

The problem was - they made NO effort to keep the buffet filled. Seriously, soon after we arrived, several of the buffet stations were empty, and remained so. Every once in a while someone would come out and empty a small bowl of food into the buffet station prompting a number of diners (also waiting for a refill) to walk over and check it out, but this really isn't the way to run a buffet.

Even getting a tea refill took a long time. The food - what there was of it - was pretty good, but if they're not actually going to PROVIDE it, they ought to quit offering the buffet.
