Description: The "hidden jewel" of Westlake and West Austin's only authentic Interior Mexican restaurant and bar. Las Palomas' menu spans multiple regions of Mexico, as well as the cultures which influenced Mexico's cuisine, including Spanish, French, South American and Aztec tastes. Our signature Mole, Chile Relleno, Steak Chimichurri and Paella recipes reflect the delicious blend of multiple cultures, honed to perfection by Amelia Corona, our founder. Join us for a culinary trip across Mexico, enhanced by an accompanying glass of wine or fresh lime margarita.

There were 11 of us on the 14 of December after 2 granddaughter's recitals and we all met up at Las Palomas for an early dinner...I know there are rules, but when you have 8 of your 11 party there standing around the ready table that you will be seating at but they wont let you, is rather silly to me and bad business as well...they missed out on several drinks and appetizers...
Service once seated was excellent as always and so was the food. My 2 beef enchiladas , one with Verde and one with queso was delicious! I cannot rave about the simplicity of their White Rice but the layers of flavor that it has!!!

My family eats here around three time a month for over 8 years. They have recently gotten new menus but same items on them. Wait staff seems to be turning over more often than it did in the past. Honestly, my family has enjoyed everything we have ordered here. The queso has a drop of guacamole in the center. extremely tasty but is loaded of salt. Live music is there often. Used to be Wed nights but seems to have changed to another night. in a corner of a shopping mall but don't let that deter you.

My favorite meal here is their pozole. It is made with chicken instead of pork and the radishes always add just the right crunch to the dish.

The food was mediocre at best lacking any real flavor let alone bold Mexican flavors. The service was rude and acted like they were doing you favor. Margarita's were horrid with some strange chemical-like smell / taste.

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Service is good and the food very good. We love the Tres Marias - three enchiladas (chicken) with different sauces, one being mole'. The mole' is also under the refried beans...tasty. The white rice looks ordinary but it has an excellent flavor.
