Love seafood? This is some of the best off-ocean seafood we've ever had. Our second visit in 12 months; great then, awesome now! Beautiful night view of downtown's towering buildings on the river, "quaint shack" decor, excellent drinks (margaritas!!) very good beer selection, extensive seafood menu. On our first visit we had buckets (literally) of different crabs. This time we had crab nachos, 3 kinds of shrimp, crab-meat stuffed snapper, green beans, grits (try em, pardner!) cole slaw and some of the best dirty rice to be found outside of New Orleans. This is not an exaggeration: one of the best meals we have had in 5 years. Service excellent.Manager came over to say hello. Seating at bar, dining room, patio or quiet corner (that's us). Staying downtown? Its an easy cab ride. A new lakeside boardwalk is going up on the edge of the water right out front - ready in March '14 (?). Happy hour snacks & drinks 4-7, 9-11 (call to check). We can't wait to go back.
