Had early dinner here during SXSW. It was busy, but we were able to get a table in about 30min. We sat on the patio since we had our Maltese dog with us. (They allow dogs---Big Bonus!) Our waitress recommended the Corn Dog Shrimp, wasn't sure sounded a little gross. To my surprise, they are totally worth it, nothing like you've ever had.
For dinner I had the Green Chile Mac, the portion was HUGE & AWESOME! I ate until I wanted to pass out, and still boxed up over 1/2 of it to go. My husband had the Trout, he raved about it. (I don't like trout, so I'll take his word for it). Our kids each got the Smoked Half Chicken, it's smoked in a Dr. Pepper BBQ. Both of them were super juicy, and the Dr. Pepper adds a little something to the BBQ. Veggies were cooked just right: not to soggy or mushy.
Our waitress was great. She never rushed us and was honest when we asked about the food, especially with how ridiculously busy week we went.
The only disappointment I had was the beer selection. Which was dismal at best... unless you like Miller Light, Shiner, DosXXX Lager, and maybe handful others, don't go there to 'just' enjoy a few beers on the patio. The extremely limited beer selection is the only reason I can't give this a 5 out of 5!
