If you're in the mood for a really really good steak, visit Roaring Fork and order a wood-fired steak. Ask the server to tell you what they have because it seemed to me that the best things on the menu, weren't on the menu!

Pricey (by US standards) but in my opinion worth every penny, you won't be disappointed by the food or service here.

Whether it's the best steak in Texas, I can't say. But it's right up there with the best steak I've ever had. I advise making a reservation, it was very busy when I visited in January 2012.

For any non-meat-eaters, a colleague ordered fish, he said that was good too.

Thank Richard M

High calorie, over priced but has a huge following. Not sure why. Combinations sometimes leave me puzzled.

the price is WAY out of line. I had the boned in ribeye thta was at least 50 % fat and tuff for $42.00 My wife had the halibut fish. have you ever seen a piece of halibut that is maybe 1/2" thick?
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME on this over priced resturant

this place has a great bar in either location...downtown or stonelake. the signature big a** burger is delicious but venture out and try other things! the cedar planked salmon...amazing. the guacamole is to die for. and the chicken flat bread is tasty! my favorite though is the "pick 2" roasted chicken with this dressing that is simply awesome! i don't crave many dishes but i do crave that!!

The Roaring Fork on Congress is a great spot for a business lunch. The service is fast and the staff is always very friendly. There are some wonderful specials and the combinations are great. Try the green chili stew appetizer, this is great for a meal but can surely be shared with the table. I love the Iceberg BLT Wedge salad. The salad is very fresh and always tasty. The guacamole and chips are also a great choice. If you save room, try the cherry pie! Outstanding!
