Was a long wait even early in the evening but the food was so good. The prices are steep, so don't have a MCI when you get the check. Try to have a beer BEFORE you get there or afterwards as the Iced Tea is expensive enough!

Undercooked fish, covered with a sauce that looks and tastes like the sauces they used to put on airline food to keep it from drying out. Good bread but I can get that at a bakery

Pappadeaux can always be considered one of the great seafood places. They have wonderful inventive fish dishes. My husband loves the gumbo. You can never, ever go wrong with the fried options as well. The portions are huge so you'll have lunch for tomorrow also. The restaurant can be a little loud but that's because everyone's happy to be there! Kids are perfect here as well.

While this visit, I spent most of my time at the bar, it is every bit as classy as choosing the dining room. Bar is comfortable enough for dining and the staff is friendly. I love the fact that they have added a skinny drink item to the menu and several healthy appetizer selections. Weekdays the happy hour is super reasonable if you are traveling and only want a taste without being stuffed.

Good fish, shrimp are the principle attractionsto this restaurant visible from IH-35 near US290. This is a great place to take a group. The food is good and you can actually hear people at the table. The hush puppies are good, and a little spicy.
