Fun date spot. Drinks are better than the food. Service is always great. If the food matched the service, it would be a 5 star rating. Ordered chile relleno recently - a special and one of my favorites. The pepper was beautifully presented, but raw when I took a bite. The dish was grossly undercooked. The server insisted it was because it was baked. I have had baked chile relleno - the pepper should not be raw. Traded it for pollo vivo - always a good choice. Puffy tacos are tasty here too.

Back at Vivo's for the second time in two weeks, I found the service excellent and the food continues to excel. Lunch specials are a bargain. Puffy tacos with a choice of fillings are delicious along with an enchilada of one's choice. I always get the verde since it is the best I have eaten anywhere.

The restaurant was neat and very artistic decor but the place was packed. Granted it was a Saturday night and the wait was not terrible. The margaritas we great and offered a larger variety than the menu selection for food. The queso is lacking flavor, more like melted velveeta.... Better selections available if you are looking for Mexican food.

Upscale dining and the ancho chile enchilada sauce is fantastic. Not cheap, but still worth it. Good guacamole and queso dip.

I was really impressed by the look and feel of this place - we went to the one in Lakecreek. The chips and salsa were deelish, but the beef tacos were chewy - not what I expected from a place with such wonderful ambiance. They really need to step up their game on the food and this could be a huge hit of a restaurant!
