Hoover's serves breakfast on weekends! Nice selection of breakfast tacos and other items. Good service and atmosphere.

I came for the meatloaf but left with a stomach full of fried chicken!!! It's moist, juicy inside with a great buttermilk marinade and the seasoning on the flour was a great salt/pepper blend

We'd heard good things about this restaurant. A little disappointing - I had the chicken and dumplings which was boring though, come to think of it, chicken and dumplings are always pretty boring..

Service was very friendly, desserts were enormous and very good.

Ordered the half chicken with cowboy beans and potato salad. Chicken was excellent. Flavorful and moist. It was all you could ask for. The beans were excellent too. Well seasoned with meat I really liked them. The potato salad was moist and visually appealing. To me it was bland. It needed more flavor. The mustard mayo mix just did not give it the taste I like. The sides are large and the entire meal a value at 11.99. To summarize: the chicken was a 4. Beans were 4.5 and the potato salad a 3. I would eat here again. Service was very good.

Chicken fried chicken or chicken fried steak are both really good, go big here, the sides and cornbread are good too.
