“Great desserts and good service”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

Chez Zee has a modest-sized menu of very decent food. I had Ahi tuna prepared nearly raw exactly as I requested garnished. My wife's shrimp dish was also very good. To eat there is something for virtually any taste, including vegetarians. The bar makes serviceable mixed drinks and got the martini order right. The super attraction here is the spectacular desserts -- superb cakes of several kinds -- orange-lavender, lemon-rosemary, coconut, chocolate decadence cheesecake, homemade ice creams on apple pie, etc. The dessert sampler has half portions of three items. Our server was just nearly perfect -- attentive and informative without being cloying.

“Great place for a party!”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

Chez Zee is a great place for a private party. The staff was excellent and kept the buffet stocked with great Mexican food and the margaritas flowing.

“Good Food. Friendly Staff.”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Stopped here for dinner on a Sunday evening and there was NO crowd. We walked right up and were seated immediately.
We asked to be seated outside in the area between the two buildings. Good choice. Shaded with a slight breeze on a warm night. Birds in the trees and bathing in the fountain. We weren't really all that hungry, so we only ordered a small pizza (pretty good Texan pizza) and split it. Couple of glasses of Prosecco, too. Followed by dessert. They do creme brulee right, but the navel orange cheesecake was terrific.
The waiter was very attentive - and we heard him giving very good advice to other customers regarding wine choices. He knew his wine pairings.

“Brunch on Fire!”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

We visited Chez Zee for Mother's Day Brunch. As expected they were packed so we weren't surprised that we had to wait a few minutes past our reservation to be seated. The Hostess was friendly and the waiting area was stocked with snacks and coffee as well as mimosas and bloody Mary's - so the wait was enjoyable.

Chez Zee has a great omelet as well as Benedict menu with almost too many choices - hard to decide. We chose a variety among the 4 of us and we were all very happy with the outcome. We also ordered their French toast, which is delicious, but very sweet - perfect for breakfast desert!

I definitely recommend Chez Zee for brunch - even on the busy holidays!

“Favorite neighborhood restaurant”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

This is my go-to restaurant. Always satisfying, wide choice of menu items and the dessert case is well worth visiting. There is a lemon rosemary cake that continues to draw me back.
