This place was really good to see and it cost nothing, I loved it!. Plus there is a good little healthly café around the corner!

I was looking for fun free stuff to do when we went to Austin. The whole gallery is amazing and obviously changes periodically. The artistry is phenomenal. Definitely wear some shoes to climb. Regretfully we had on flip flops, so it was impossible to climb up to the different levels. This is a must see though!

We almost didn't go here since many reviewers said it wasn't really kid friendly and that there's hiking involved. We went ahead and took the chance and went though while we were passing through. Out of all the things we saw on our trip, this one was one of the most memorable. We took our 1 and 5 year old children. We stayed at the bottom and didn't get to see all of what was at the top but that's okay because it's still worth going to. Some pretty informative hippy looking dudes were chillin' at the bottom and were pretty informative. One was wearing an eye patch and my daughter insisted on asking if he was a pirate. Hahaha. There was a guy actually painting when we were there, also. I'd say don't be scared to go see this place, even if you cant hike or climb or have children. I'm also 6 months pregnant and it didn't stop us. Totally a place to see if you're in Austin! This is also a place where it'll take a you a bit to really soak it all in. There's taggings in every nook and cranny.

Great way to see Austin street art all in one spot. Mural upon mural you will find interesting works that change as often as the artists visit. There are several levels that can be accessed by a slightly steep climb, but the view from the top is worth the effort. This was my first visit, so I am unsure how often it is maintained or by whom, but the trash was little piled up. Look past it and feel the love.

Great site for graffiti but a lot of the best pieces have been tagged with garbage. Needs to be revitalized with some new work. Maneuvering around it's as difficult as described in other posts. Lots of broken glass and exposed rebar not very kid or gravity challenged friendly.
