Was here for MOTOGP, awesome. Back for Formula 1, spectacular.
I've been a formula one fan for a long time and finally there is a track we can be proud of. Great track for drivers and fans. Remarkable design that takes advantage of the terrain making watching a blast as you can see large portions of the track from several locations even if only a general admission ticket holder.
Travel to the track is slow but works with trams from Austin. The people working the track are wonderful. Everyone has a smile and a hello for you. Thanks Austin.

“Absolutely terrific venue!!!”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

We attended the inaugural Formula One Grand Prix here last November in Austin and what a brilliant set up they have! For its maiden voyage the organizers did a tremendous job. In just a few short months they managed to turn some farm land into one of the best circuits on the F1 calendar. First class facilities, great shuttle bus services, ample parking, lots of apres race entertainment. We just got a general admission pass for the three days and found tons of places around the circuit on grassy patches to watch the action. I rented a TV-thingy at the circuit that is recommended if you are an F1 buff - gives you all the timing and the BBC commentary, etc.
I take my hat off to them. Amongst the eighteen-plus venues on the calendar, this would have to be one of your must-visits along with Spa in Belgium. Austin as a city is fun and welcoming too (also make the 1.5hr trip to San Antonio with its river walks along the "Fastest Hwy in the US" with its 85mph speed limits!!!).

“Concert venue”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

Took my daughter to Paramore concert at this venue. Remember $20 for parking and $8 per drink. Good sound and pick up drop off system.

“Huge place”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

Our first visit to this track. We were there for the SVRA Vintage Championship. The track does not allow you to stay in your motorhome inside the track. This necessitated us parking in the H paddock about a mile from tech and the pits. You need a golf cart or scooter if you go there. The staff was very friendly. Concession prices very high.

“great free shuttle”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

service in town & to the circuit. Down side the long up hill walk from the shuttle drop off point to the circuit main entrance (30-40 mins) & the lack of places inside the circuit to purchase food & drink & also merchandise most people had to stand in line in the hot sun for at least 1hr just to get a beer or anything else for that matter all from totally inept staff. But the race was brilliant!
