I'm was there second time in 2 years and i stay there in both case 30 days or even more. Sure, it's my best stay in AUS, but believe me, eating more or less the same breakfast for 30+ days is a little bit too much. I've prepared more and more food in my room at the end. Anyway this is a GREAT hotel with a very good staff on a good location and I'll come back over the see again if i have a chance.

I had a nanny and our two young children on this trip. The front desk staff was fantastic and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms are a little dated -- no flat screen TV, OLD DVD/VHS player, but very comfortable and clean.

The breakfast was very good and the folks running it were dealing with a full house. I don't think I ever seen a buffet breakfast hotel staff hustle so much to keep the guests pleased. The only minor quibble with breakfast is that the serving area is MUCH smaller than it should be, people were bumping into each other all the time.

The location isn't bad, a little hard to spot coming in from one direction as the sign is blocked by a tree/bushes. Lots of stuff to do at the Arboretum and downtown is about 15 minutes away.

In general, an excellent stay and an excellent hotel. Staff were without exception helpful, polite and friendly (almost falling over themselves to apologise when I had problems with the AC), the room was pretty large and quite well furnished, there was plenty of parking, maid service was thorough, it was close to lots of malls etc. (including a Whole Foods), and the kitchen was reasonably well equipped.

The only real downsides were that the kitchen didn't have an oven (although this is fairly typical of such suite hotels), and that the breakfast was a bit poor - although the selection was reasonable, the items were a bit cheap (even by American breakfast standards) and often there wasn't even real crockery. On the other hand, it is free. There were also some evening drink and snack nights, which were also free.

All in all, I would recommend this as somewhere to stay - but it might be worth finding somewhere else to eat breakfast unless you're on a tight budget.

From check-in to check-out we received the most courteous and friendly customer service ever encountered in the hotel industry. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure comfort and convenience for their guests.

All the extras were amazing, free breakfast, evening buffet, free laundry not only top notch but saved our family a lot of extra money that we would have spent staying elsewhere.

Kitchen well stocked although we didn't use it as much as we planned with all the great free food!

Housekeeping staff went above and beyond the advertised "light housekeeping only" during the week, insisted on cleaning up the mess made by my autistic son even when I told her I could do it.

Beds soooooooooooo comfortable, spoke with my mom this morning after sleeping at home last night and she wishes she was back in her bed at Staybridge!

Heated outdoor pool wonderful, was worth the chilly walk back to the room! Nice size with plenty of deck seating and towels warming in the sun.

This is the only place to stay when visiting Austin and I will definitely return!

We had never stayed at a Staybridge Suites, but earier reviews of this Austin property convinced us we should give it a try. It turned out to be just as nice as everyone suggested. The bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, the morning breakfast is better than any other hotel's breakfast, and everything is very clean--including rooms, breakfast area, exercise room. The front desk staff was very friendly. The only slight "things that could be improved" are the following: one of the two treadmills in the fitness room was broken, and there was no obvious attempt by staff to fix it. Luckily, I was usually the only person wanting to use the other treadmill. The other slight problem was that housekeeping somehow forgot to restock us with toilet and facial tissue, so I had to go hunting around for those myself. All in all, a great stay!
