Played this Palmer course outside Austin this weekend through texas golf trail concierge. It was a 70 degree December day and the course was in great shape. Not close to dormant, the Bermuda was still pretty full. This course is open off the tee with narrow approach shots and tricky greens. Long hitters can take advantage of the par 5s which makes it fun. Higher handicaps enjoy relatively sho track and not too many forced carries. Generally one of the most enjoyable layouts in Austin. Good place to play 27 then have a steak and a nice bottle of wine on the stunning veranda overlooking the Texas Hill Country and Lake Travis. Also, non gofers should experience the coolest resort pool around. Tis is the kind of place you could play for the rest of time. It's just a good time and has a great feel.
