“Beautiful museum!!”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

The Bob Bullock Museum is super nice with great exhibits and information. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this museum, so I've been back a few times now. There is also an IMAX theater that's really cool too. This place is a must go!

“God bless Texas!”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

The museum was enjoyable and educational. It is well laid-out and I was impressed that some areas provided different perspectives; i.e., Texas' perspective, America's perspective, and Mexico's perspective.

While my husband and I are seniors and enjoyed our time at the museum, we also saw a number of families with young children. The children seemed to enjoy the museum's offerings, as well.

The gift store was worth visiting, too. The café had a very long line; so we elected to eat elsewhere.

“Great Museum”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Went on a Saturday with my husband. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We stayed all day but it didn't seem too long. The museum is exceptionally well organized and is such a lovely venue. We ended our day with the IMAX viewing of "Texas" and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Highly recommend this trip to anyone. Saw many families with kids and they seemed to be having a great time so from little ones to grandparents, it's a hit. Very easy to find and parking is underground so you don't have to drive around looking for a place to park. A restaurant on site (we didn't try it but many were) if you need a little break.

“Excellent Museum”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

I'm not a native texan, so I thought this might be a bit "over the top", but it was a fairly balanced view of Texas history, and especially the mistreatment of the native Indians (well... except for the Alamo :)

“Worth the visit”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

We stopped in the museum on our way to the airport, flying home from a wedding weekend. We had about 3 hours to fill, and thought we'd like to learn more Texas history. The museum was free on Sunday, but parking was $8. Definitely worth the parking fee! We felt that we could have spent hours more in the museum, too. Very well done.
