Took the walking tour on South Congress while traveling to Austin by myself. Great way to get out and socialize, meet other foodies. Our tour guide was awesome--friendly, informative and nice! We visited 7 restaurants and a grocery store in our three hours. Woodland, Snack Bar, Guero's, Hopbobby and then the pizza place. Only disappointment was the pizza place--just not that original but by then you are stuffed. Grits and shrimp at woodland were great. Caramel and sea salt malt at Hopbobby (?) was out of this world!!! Worth every calorie!!

This was our first food tour, and right from the start, we could tell it was going to be fun with tour guide, Scott. He asked everyone's name, where we were from, and what our favorite foods were. Throughout the tour, Scott was entertaining, easy to hear in a large group, and was very knowledgeable about Austin and the food landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed all the stops, visiting approximately nine different eateries, bakeries, Whole Foods, and bars, with a broad sampling of different types of food, drink and desserts. If you must eat breakfast, make it light. Parking in the garage is $3, and on a 100 degree day, it was definitely money well spent. Free parking is available right across the road at the Farmer's Market.

We took the BBQ & Brew tour on our last day in Austin and it was a fantastic way to end our vacation. Andy was excellent to work with from questions to booking through the entire tour. Andy knew what he was talking about and kept the tour moving at a nice pace, while not rushing us through any of the stops. Excellent customer service! If I ever end up in Austin TX again I will be sure to return!

My husband and I went on our first food tour a week ago and had a wonderful time. We went on a BBQ van tour, our tour guide for the day was owner of the Austin Eats Food Tours, Andy within a few min. of meeting him we knew our day would be great. Andy has a passion for his city and takes a lot of pride in educating visitors like ourselves not only on food, but on a lil history or interesting stories. The element of surprise, not knowing where your next stop will be made the tour even more fun. Andy made sure to not only show us Austin's delicious BBQ places, but to also to point out other places we should try on our weekend in town . We will definitely be taking another tour soon.

We took this food tour today and could not have been happier! The owner Andy has an affiliation with 60+ establishments and after eight stops we were happily stuffed. Everyone was incredibly nice and the variety was just right. Austin Eats accommodates anyone with dietary restrictions just make certain to share with the guide when introductions are made. This tour is a must in Austin!
