We sat at the sushi bar in front of two gentlemen (whose names escape me (so sorry), one was from California working there for 1.5 years and the other from Baton Rouge working there for about 6 months) and they were fantastic. We ordered the chefs tasting and had two options: we could get the preset tasting or have our chef create one for us. We opted for the latter and we made the right decision. He asked us about what we liked what we didn't and created a menu right in front of us. He coursed it with the food in mind and throughout the meal made changes to his original menu based on what our reactions were. He was also conscious of telling us in what order to eat which was great. The two guys in Front of us were fun and personable, interesting and conversational. We laughed with them and they gave us sushi and dessert they really wanted us to try in addition to our tasting. Overall they really made the night. Our bar server, a nice young woman (Kathy?) was super attentive, she realized we were enjoying the sushi chefs and so she non intrusive as a result. We gathered she'd be interactive if we weren't engaged with the chefs. She was a great addition to the night. Best thing to do is sit at the bar and let them pick for you. The fish was amazing and kitchen food was excellent. Everything was so creative and flavorful. Wonderful experience.
