“Find out how Austin is keeping it "weird"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

If you want to pick up on the pulse of the Austin culture, head to SoCo where you'll find costume shops (Lucy in Disguise), nifty shops and restaurants, and the famous restaurant Trailers which have taken the city by storm (Torchy's Tacos began here). A pleasant way to enjoy an Austin sunny day of which there are many.

“Great Boulevard with view down to State Capitol”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Great Music, Food, Shopping and People. If you are looking for a uniquely South Austin experience, South Congress is the place to be. Also known as SOCO to the trendy set, it features some of the best restaurants in Austin. Vespio, South Congress Cafe and Guero's are some of my favorites. The Continental Club is the quintessential live music venue of Austin. Unique shops abound; get your Wertern On at Allen's Boots. And then there is always great people watching. Some great events along the Boulevard include the Kustom Kar show in Spring, the R.O.T rally, and SXSW.

Have Fun, see you down on the Boulevard

“Food, drinks, art”

A great place to walk and find great food, drinks, and art. There are several food trucks as well as restaurant options. The food trucks were great.

I loved the view as you round the corner and look down the street to see the capitol building. It was breathtaking!

“Fun experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

This area was very eclectic and very crowded when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Crowds of people dining, shopping and enjoying beautiful weather. Most of the shops were antique; would have enjoyed it more if there were artsy places. Huge variety of restaurants as well as many food trucks. We enjoyed the booths with local artists. Parking was tricky, we drove around and found a spot on a side street a block or two away. A fun place to browse and people watch but you need patience to stand in lines for much of the dining, etc.
