“Weird lay-out and no fun activities promised”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We visited hoping to find the fountain and some fun things to do for kids, at least like La Cantera. Fountain not working, no train, some stores were closed too! A poor mom was trying to entertain her kids mounting a tiny bear next to a seat. What a joke for a place that looks so fancy! And with the heat... For a nice cool day is a good idea if you wish to walk a lot, but otherwise... Austin has plenty of places to do exercise, much more beautiful than a mall. A place for Adults, it is obviously discouraging families with kids to go because it has living areas in the top floors.

“The whole setup is horrible!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2013

No parking, tight streets, too spread out, doesn't really make any sense at all. I think Austinites love it but really, in 105 degree heat, you cannot just park and stroll along. I guess if you pull up, valet, go have dinner and leave it is great but we were not doing that.

Just love walking around shopping, catching a spontanious beverage at their many coffee shops, watching a movie, and enjoying dinner or lunch at one of their many restaurants with friends or family!

“Great Shopping at The Domain 11410 Century Oaks Terrace, Austin, TX”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

A nice compact shppping area with over 100 stores and restaurants. (Stand alone stores) Great choice of shopping, just go to http://www.simon.com/mall/the-domain/stores for full details.

Our daughter Miranda took us to the Sur La Table store (kitchen stuff) with some really great Texas cooking items, sauces, mixes, small appliances, etc. I even found an orange peeler that really works on the thick skinned oranges, and I had been looking for one all over.

And parking was plentiful too, since you don't want to walk around too much in the 96 F spring time weather. (Worse in the summer, it will get to be 100 or more for about 3 months straight!).
