“Walk through history when you tour this library”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2013

There was no charge to visit this library on the day that we visited but we did give a donation. One could easily spend several hours here as there is so much to see. There are several floors on which there are exhibits. LBJ became president during a turbulent time in America's history. The Civil Rights movement was in full swing and, also, the escalating conflict in Vietnam. These two issues defined his presidency and prevent him from running for another term. In the end, both probably contributed to an early death for him. His life and times are covered extensively in this library.

“Revisit a complicated time of our history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

Very well-done presidential library for an under-appreciated President. Walk through a photo exhibit, see a presidential limo, a replica Oval Office and Lady Bird's office overlooking the AUstin sky-line. For history buffs, or American citizens...this is a must-see.

“Presidental History Well Documented”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

Enjoyed our visit to the Library. Apparently it has been recently renovated. I really enjoyed the video pieces which summarized and highlighted the point of the displays in the nearby rooms. The museum also had an exhibit on photo journalism which was a bonus. Not sure how long this installation will be in place. Would visit again during my next trip to Austin.

“Wonderful look at a piece of history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

This place is fun, interesting, and very worthwhile. So much information not included in your text books. Make sure to leave enough time (3 hrs. or so) because there's a lot to see and learn.
