Beautifully done in a small space. Had an excellent guide as we were with a tour group.

“Weddung Venue”
Reviewed March 25, 2012

Absolutely gorgeous in everyway (not withstanding the great weather we enjoyed for my son's late afternoon wedding) Ceremony under the arbor next to the stream...birds singing, light breeze, appetizers in the garden, dinner on the upper patio. Very helpful staff made the experience even nicer. Small, but adequate kitchen for caterers. Adjacent parking lot and great place for bride and wedding party to get ready. Lovely sculpture garden with winding paths. Some 'poison ivy' warning signs. Not a great place though for a wedding with toddlers as there were lots of 'falling off/in" spots!

“A star”
Reviewed February 23, 2012

This is a small garden, about two acres. But it is a real gem. The garden is the legacy of Charles Umlauf and was designed by him with loving care. It has dozens of his works and some beautiful landscaping. There is also a short film that acquants you with his works and life. the admission price is small enough to make it almost free. A great way to spend a couple of hours while at Zilker Park.
