This is a beautiful piece of Austin that has a rich history dating back to the Native Americans, then William Travis, then to Clara Driscoll. Overlooks Lake Austin. Worth a visit- close to Mount Bonell.

Laguna Gloria is interesting and worth a visit if you have the time. It's a little out of the way but restful and peaceful when you get there. The exhibitions are not always outstanding or noteworthy, but the buildings and grounds are noteworthy themselves.

Not really much to see. We were interested because the home was designed by Harvey Page the architect who designed our home in King William in San Antonio, but there is not much to see. There were just 18 paintings on display(could be more at another time), and the home has lots of offices and is used for events such as weddings....beautiful setting when it is not 104 degrees and the middle of a Texas drought.

I've been here quite a few times and everytime I visit here it gives me a very relaxing experience. The old building is well maintained as well as the surrounding yard including the trees around it ... and the view is spectacular. I always make sure my friends and family members bring their guests from out of town to AMOA Laguna Gloria. Thank you all volunteers ... for keeping this place a wonderful work of art.
