Casa del Sol was just about perfect for us. The rooms are tucked into a beautiful and well maintained environment. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but will next time. The breakfast items were very nice as well. We rented the Garden Room (I think), which was a lower price, and the bed was a little firm for us. We will likely seek a softer bed in one of the other rooms next time. Great experience overall.
Thanks for taking the time to write a review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in the Garden Room. When you come back, check out the Moonlight Suite. It's our newest room with the best view of Lake Travis, and a private deck and hot tub. Also a King bed which is softer. : )
And all of the rooms have adjacent parking, too.

Cata at Casa del Sol
A beautiful, secluded, almost hidden B&B with a breathtaking view of the Colorado river. The pool and hot tub only add to the already serenely perfect atmosphere set by the owners. The garden and gazeebo are an additional plus. The owners are very kind and have the perfect understanding of being a great host. They were very respectful and gave us our very much needed privacy. They were very accommodating of our very late in the night arrival needs as well. Making a reservation was quick and painless. Casa del Sol is a retreat that in my opinion deserves a second trip simply to stay and enjoy the view, pool, hot tub, BBQ ... the only reason to leave the property would be a visit to the grocery store to stock the fridge. I highly recommend Casa Del Sol to anyone. Even my worst enemy.

I spent a lovely night--even with torrential rains from a weather system! It was easy to find, a beautiful respite from downtown Austin, and a delightful laid back setting, with a pool and hot tub. I can't wait to come back when the weather is better!

We try to make each room so cozy and comfortable, and make sure you have everything, that even when you are "tucked in" it feels good! I am happy we succeeded!
Luckily it's Austin, so even in winter, the odds are good that you can get out and spend some time on the decks and patios. So... we hope to see you back, too! Spring and summer in the courtyard are lush and beautiful!!

Stayed here for Labor Day weekend, our first B&B and couldn't have found a better spot. Very beautiful setting with almost zero intrusions other than the owner checking in to give us our morning breakfast pastries which were delicious. Stayed in the Garden Room wasn't listed on the website but seeing the others the Garden is more secluded than the others. Will definitely come back for another visit next time we are in the area!!
We came to celebrate 12 years and this was perfect! Quiet, secluded. Lush green grounds, loved the pool and hot tub. Loved waking up every morning to a sunrise from our bedroom view. Just romantic! Doug is very welcoming and hospitable and loved the decor of our suite. Tasty pastries and fruit and just made our time here memorable. Very close to lake travis, and not far from Austin and so we were able to enjoy many surrounding amenities. Would definitely come again.
