“Great place to stay in Austin”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

I had not heard of the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center prior to our most recent trip to Austin, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel staff was very friendly. I especially enjoyed the guy working at the coffee area. He was very personable, friendly, and had a great personality. The girl at check-in was very nice as well. The valet guys were always quick to retrieve our car. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Stayed at the hotel for a conference in the adjoining conference center. Very well appointed room, clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Right on the edge of UTexas campus. and close to state capital. Only downside was the conference rooms were very cold

My husband and I made a quick trip to Austin, Tx for work and we stayed here at the At&T Center. It was an incredibly convenient location for getting to the capital - it was an easy 15 minute walk for me.

The hotel is pricey and they charge $13 for parking and $5 for a bottle of water in your room but the staff is very gracious and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we were able to get the reasonable rate we did for this trip.

Room Tip: The courtyard rooms are quiet but you have no view and as it turns out no privacy - you have to keep...

I stayed here as part of a medical conference. I loved the proximity to everything and energy of the area! Room was nice, comfortable. Service and food were great. Our meeting rooms were underground, which was kind of different and felt a little dark which is my only minor complaint.

My husband and I stayed at the AT&T as part of a conference and it is a lovely hotel. Great location with university activities all around. We watched three weddings out our window and easily walked all around the campus.

The staff was polite and professional, all was clean and polished. Lovely, large room and great bathroom. This is a high-class place, but I would have liked a machine to grab a diet coke. We didn't eat in the hotel; instead we walked down the street and enjoyed the University Drag. We looked into adding a third night on our own dime, but at $250 a night, it didn't seem worth it. We moved a few blocks and saved $100.

Our daughter is an avid runner who decided at the last minute to run in the Austin 10-20. As a result, we had a hard time finding a convenient upscale hotel. We ended up selecting the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center which we found on the internet. While not especially convenient to the race, the hotel was extraordinary in every other way. The staff in every department was extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was a bit small as we needed 2 queens, but it was very comfortable and clean. The pool could have used a little more heat, but nonetheless we enjoyed an exhilarating swim during our stay. We tried dinner at Gabriel's and it was a very enjoyable casual dining experience. The food was fresh and well prepared. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for parents of UT attendees. The on-campus location just couldn't be any better.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3007. No complaints about the noise level whatsoever.

A very nice, upscale hotel that is owned by the Univ. Texas Austin, (name was leased to AT&T and is run by an outside service). Service was friendly and the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. The AT&T cable service in each room had thousands of channels, the restaurants in the hotel were delicious and the location cant be beat. We were in town for the NCAA tournament and it was an easy walk to the Erwin center. It is however a trek to Sixth street and many of the restaurants so we ended up cabbing it a few times. If you have a car you MUST drive out to Salt Lick BBQ (approx. 30 mins away) its worth the drive!

Overall a great facility, a bit pricey but worth it.
