The location is perfect if you're wanting to visit SoCo shops and eateries. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room we were in (253) was clean and comfortable. I would advise you to bring a fan or noise machine with you if you are lighter sleeper as I was awakened every time the A/C kicked on during the night. Also, I heard people talking as they walked past our room. The room lacked a hair dryer and facial tissue, but it had decent towels and washcloths. The A/C had a remote controller which was nice.
