Well this is more like it, prefer these smaller boutique hotels, places with something unique and characterful. After a week of festivities, relocating to this place in the SoCo district was just the tonic. Surrounded by wonderful diners, great shopping and quirky boutiques, the Austin Motel exudes charm and a more personal touch. It may be a tatted-up hipster location, but both the motel and the area are so laid-back and relaxed, it's hard not to just while away the days ambling along. Rooms were claen and very reasonable, and friendly reception staff.Loved it.
