We won’t be staying here anymore even though the staff members are upbeat and kind. There were just too many problems our last visit. We were locked out of our newly renovated room for at least 30 minutes. The locking mechanism on the door just wouldn’t work so they had to replace/fix while we sat in the hall. I couldn’t use a cyber key because the room number listed on my Hilton account was different than the room they switched us to on arrival. I called for a late checkout on Sunday only to find that they instead checked us out of our room, rendering our new set of keys useless. When I tried to call the front desk about the checkout notification, my room phone wouldn’t work. I called hotel from my cell phone. Front desk kindly ran us up a new set of keys. Like I said, staff is kind.
This is a small thing but when I checked in they gave us water bottles. We are supposed to get snacks also (small thing, I know). So I asked and front desk said they were running low but brought out a cardboard box from the back and let me pick. Also my husband usually gets ice for our room but complained he had to go floor to floor to find a working ice machine. Noisy construction also continued during weekend daytime, right above our room. I usually fill out the hotel surveys after a visit but I’ve yet to receive one. We travel a lot so I’d want to know if someone had a rough hotel stay. Sorry, I really really hate to post bad reviews.
