This was our first encounter with Austin's lifestyle. I love shopping in Supermarkets, specially if they are as fancy as Whole Foods. I could not beleive the variety. The Granola Is too much! So many options, plus you could make your own mix, the Spices area, pink salt from India, Chia in bulk as 1,000 others...

The coffee section, a trip itself. The people working on each area are experts and want you to experience the best of every section. Cheese Fans? Prepare! Huge Parmesano Reggiano and hundred other types of cheese from Spain, Italy, France... Again, the experts behind a large counter to help you with any questions.

Bread, right from the oven, country style, french baguette, you name it. You can taste any kind and order half portions.

For chocolate lovers, a whole section, your kids will get crazy here..

I can go on and on and on.Looking for a fancy beer? You will have to walk into a large freezer, a room itself, to grab your favorite one.

More than vitamins and medicine, there are all types of alternative drugs and homeopathic and natural medicine.

Fish, king Crabs, etc. etc.
Meat lovers, unbelievable cuts of all kinds.

Simply, the Disneyland of Super Markets!

This place is a feast for a foodie's eyes. The food is fresh and beautifully displayed. You have so many options. What to choose will be your biggest problem...

This is a great place to go with kids. You can get in and out quickly. You can find lots of tasty, healthy options. They also have yummy desserts. There's a lot of seating both inside and outside.

We went by there and stop for a quick lunch. I was impressed with the size and many people there eating lunch. Food are fresh from kitchen. It was a good break for us. We also enjoyed the store and the variety of produce there.

Tons of parking space - but watch for pedestrians. The cafe is great and the shop is typical excellent Whole Foods. We made this our home base for our downtown activities. It is only a couple blocks away from Lady Bird Johnson Lake.
