The nicest culinary surprise of the whole trip. Freshly made from scratch Italian dishes served with optional side condiments that add an Asian flair twist. My husband went traditional with chicken Marsala, and I went for the Buccatinni Arrabiata. Both were awesome. I wish we had tried them for dinner, but they were our lunch stop on our last day of vacation. Their mixologist and Manager, Gino, greater us with a warm handshake and made us a few delicious cocktails. We chatted a bit and discovered that he has a lifetime of bar experience, and we tried a few things from a rock and rye, to pineapple jalepeno martini, to my dessert drink which was a martini that tasted like a cannoli. Bravo and cheers!

Best Italian meal in Austin in recent memory! Cheese and meat appetizer had nice variety, and a delicious fig spread, and beef carpaccio was a taste sensation. Bread was nicely toasted. Lobster and shrimp ravioli, accompanied by a bit of fresh spinach very tasty. Seafood with squid ink pasta (black pasta) a good choice too. Nice wine list, we travel extensively and recognized several of the red wine choices from our travels. Desert made at table, chocolate ravioli, a nice end to a great meal. Small restaurant, with full bar, involved and accommodating, friendly, service. Outdoor patio looked nice on a cooler evening. Lounge singer, who apparently is there on Friday nights, was nice surprise, good voice, and sang some patron requests. My wife, sister-in-law, and I really enjoyed everything about this place. And, the owner was on scene and enhanced the experience. Go early or late for quieter ambiance and feel, but we enjoyed the more crowded, a bit noisy Little Italy/New York more authentic Italian restaurant feel (which brought back nice memories of my youth near NYC). Not inexpensive, but we thought it was fairly priced for the quality of food and venue. We will be back soon.
