I've stayed at other STAYBRIDGE SUITES in Austin before, and the overall upkeep and room amenities between the Austin Airport STAYBRIDGE don't see a huge difference. Compared to the likes of HAMPTON INN's and HILTON GARDEN INN's, STAYBRIDGE Suites typically would have smaller elevators and someone they're always located at different areas of the premises. This isn't an outstanding issue but once you have stayed at the competition, you'll know the difference.

STAYBRIDGE Suites is famed for their breakfasts, but not really outstanding by comparison to the likes of RESIDENT'S INN or HOMEWOOD SUITES. In fact, the 3 are quite similar in many ways in terms of the breakfast buffet offerings.

The Austin Airport STAYBRIDGE is not actually at the airport, but is off Riverside Drive in South Austin, approx a 5 - 10 minute drive from Bergstrom airport depending on traffic. There is literally nothing on the block of the hotel except residential homes. The biggest problem I encountered is the fact that there simply aren't enough parking spaces to accomodate for all tenants. When I showed up upon check-in, I was told to park along the fire-lane or behind their off-duty hotel shuttle. There were cars parked outside the premises along the dark residential streets. Given the number of rooms to the hotel, they really should have made for more parking areas so tenants wouldn't have to drive around before having to resort to parking in illegal parking spaces.

Overall, the hotel is a good choice if you have an early flight out of Bergstrom. But there are other choices within a 3 minute drive that are closer to the airport.

This is a wonderful places and we loved our living- and bedroom. We didn't use the kitchen but it has all you need for a longer stay like a fridge, micro wave, dishwasher. Snacks and drinks for free in the afternoon and a very good breakfast this morning with fruit, waffles, bagles, yoghurt, bacon and more. For us it was more than enough. Nice looking swimming pool and 2 BBQ's. Staff was friendly too.

Overall, this is a nice place, but it is a bit noisy - think walls? Right now at 8am on Monday morning, while in my 2nd floor room, I can hear the music and tv playing downstairs in the restaurant area.

Breakfast was "ok".. Pretty typical of the "hot" breakfast served by most places but it apparent that a lot of the offerings were "sysco" frozen/reheated. Good coffee, bu highly suggared cereals.

The room was clean, but the doors could use a good scrubbing. There was no soap dish/ledge in the shower to place soap or glasses.....a minor nit, but I hate putting my glasses on the shower door. The staff appeared friendly.

Location good for airport but about 7 miles to get anywhere in Austin. Also, there's NO place to walk around here at all. Also, keep in mind, because this is a stay bridge, you get VERY limited maid/room cleaning service.

This hotel is either brand new or has been re-done recently. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable. This is an extended stay hotel, and the room we stayed in had a fully stocked kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and 2 burner stove.
The only negative about this hotel is that the parking spots are tiny. We returned late one night and we could not find anywhere to park because the parking is too small to accomodate anything other than compact cars. People with trucks had taken up more than 1 spot, and left us with nowhere to park.

Chose this hotel because of location - close to business meeting and reviews. I was certainly not disappointed! The hotel is very nice - I had a king suite. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable and the linens were very good quality. The sofa and chair in the living area were also very comfortable. Two flat screen lcd tv's. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was really good - waffles, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, muffins, fruit, yogurt - lots more variety than the typical complimentary hotel breakfast. The pool was nice - very clean. This is my new hotel on trips to Austin. The room rate was amazing for such a nice place... I would highly recommend.

This hotel seems like it has everything that a traveler would need for a few days or even a week. I only stayed there a short time, but I noticed that a big effort had been made to make the guests comfortable. It was the little things, like irons and closet organizers and a well equipped kitchen that were all noticed by me and appreciated. The room was spacious and very clean. There is a little store downstairs where food can be purchased. The hotel staff was very nice, even providing a large container of ice for me late at night. They offered breakfast in the morning, which was ample.

Really clean and convenient. Great service, friendly staff. Rooms were new and beds were comfortable. Located in a quiet area so you can get a good night's rest. The breakfast is pretty comprehensive and delicious. Made our Austin trip wonderful.
