We booked a room for 2 nights, 4 months in advance of a Cowboys game. We arrived mid afternoon a day early and were happy they had our room available early - for $100. As advertised, the hotel is right across the street from Cowboys Stadium, and we even had a view of the Stadium from our room! PERFECT. Nope - the pass key to get in the room didn't seem to work. I asked the girl from the front desk to help and even she couldn't get the door to open. Finally after more than 20 swipes and jiggling the handle we got in. That issue was never fixed while we were there - always had trouble getting the door to open. The room was clean but there was no fridge. Met the housekeeping lady in the hallway and she was very nice, asking if there was anything we needed. There was no hot water for showers the first morning, second & third mornings it was hot with cold shots every few seconds. I made coffee in the room, and after the second cup we heard a beep sound, and a breaker (we assumed) blew in the room, no lights in the bathroom. I called the front desk - after waiting over half an hour without lights, we left for the morning. The internet worked the first night, but after that, I had to call the desk to reset their modem/router every time I wanted to connect, and the internet ran very slow - slightly better than dial-up. The walls were so thin the people in the next room were talking quietly, but it sounded like they were in our room. Free continental breakfast was offered in the tiny lobby with 5 small bar tables, each had 4 chairs - it was very crowded. We went out for breakfast. In order to park in the hotel parking lot for "free" we had to stay 2 nights. This hotel is certainly not worth the $250/night we paid.

Room Tip: If you are staying during a Cowboys game weekend you will be paying through the nose for the locatio...

We thank this guest for taking time to comment. We are glad we liked our location and that he found our housekeeping lady nice. We are sorry for his frustration with the room electronic lock. All our electronic room locks are regularly cleaned and inspected for proper functioning. In view of the lock issue, we do not know why this guest did not move to another room. Our staff would have worked hard to make this guest's stay comfortable and trouble free. The keycard only works if it is inserted into the lock a certain way as the magnetic strip is only located near to top edge of one side of the keycard. Fridge is available but at an extra cost. There was no report from this guest that he had any concern about the availability of hot water in his room. We have checked his room and found no problem with the hot water. It is possible to trip the breaker in the bathroom area if something else that draws large amount of amp - such as curling iron happens to be also plugged into same plug as the one used by the coffee maker - while it is making coffee. We have also double checked all the plugs in this guest room. Regarding breakfast, we always recommend eating breakfast early to avoid the crowd - especially if the game is at 12:00pm noon. For that game, the lobby was very busy with lots of guests checking in and checking out. We also recommend avoiding checking in or checking out anytime near kickoff time as our lobby is very busy during those times. Our parking package includes the parking fee ($80 fee during Cowboys Game for non-guest) if you stay two or more consecutive nights around the event date. All the hotels room rates in Arlington fluctuates depending on room demand and supply availability. We work hard at keeping our rate competitive with similarly located hotel and our room rate is usually lower if you book well ahead of time when the supply is plentiful.

The desk clerk was very cheerful, friendly, and helpful. This is an older hotel albeit clean in a very convenient location, right across from Cowboys Stadium. Bed was comfortable. Unlike the experience of another reviewer, when I checked out they needed a signature and I was given a receipt so I feel it was necessary to check out on the day of departure.

The seating area for breakfast was very small and crowded when I got there around 7:45 am. I got a cup of coffee but couldn't find the artificial sweetener. Breakfast consisted of waffles, bagels, donuts, and muffins along with orange juice, etc. SInce I prefer not to eat high carbohydrate and white flour for breakfast, I just picked up a banana at the check out desk on my way out.

This isn't a bad hotel, just not a luxury hotel.

We thank this guest for taking time to comment. We are glad that he found our desk clerk to be cheerful, friendly and helpful, that our location to be very convenient, and that the bed was comfortable. Yes, we always recommend checking out at the front desk to go over any questions you may have. Our breakfast is served from 6am to 10am and we recommend eating breakfast early to avoid the crowd. We apologize that our selection is limited for careful eater - though we offer 2% milk, whole wheat bread, whole wheat bagel, original corn flake, and heart healthy oatmeal with different flavors, 3 fruits, and juices.

This establishment destroyed what could have been an enjoyable business trip. The service was incredibly bad,and the rooms smelled awful. The beds were the most uncomfortable that I personally have ever slept in. There were no refridgerators nor microwaves available, the coke machine on our level leaked on the carpet, and the only ice machines working, could`nt keep up with the demand ( in December?). For the exorbitant amount we paid to be close to Texas Stadium, we would have been better off staying in our vehicle,at least it is clean!

We thank this guest for taking time to comment. We are sorry for his experience. It appears that he was on a business trip and wanted to be close to Cowboys Stadium - Texas Stadium is the old stadium in Irving. Hopefully, he stayed in Arlington, TX. All our desk clerks are regularly trained and retrained in customer service. All our rooms are regularly cleaned and sanitized and all carpeting, padding, beds, bed linens, drapes are new in the room. All our beds are new pillowtop beds. Refrigerator and microwave are available at extra charge. None of our coke machines are on carpet and the tiled area where the coke machines are cleaned daily. All our ice machines are working. It is possible during peak times when ice chests are repeatedly been filled for the ice machines to be empty momentarily. New ice cubes are made every 15 minutes. On the positive side, we are glad he liked the location of the hotel he stayed at .

We stayed at the Days Inn in Arlington for a football game and had 2 rooms during our stay. We had NO hot water for showers in either room, the vending machine wouldn't take our change or bills and therefore nothing to drink, and the ice machine barely put out enough ice to fill 2 small cups.
I told the lady at the front desk about our lack of hot water and she couldn't even bother to get off of her phone call to attend to the issue.
My husband and friends stay there each year for the convience to the stadium, but never again!

Room Tip: I don't recommend booking any room at this hotel

We thank this guest for taking time to comment. We are sorry for her experience and have apologized to this guest. She stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and mentioned only mentioned about her concern at check-out. The desk clerk was checking this guest out and answering an incoming call at same time and it was not her intention to appear to be inattentive. As explained to her had she informed the hotel staff anytime during her stay - before checking out, the staff would have worked very hard at addressing her concerns until she is satisfied. Please contact front desk clerks if you are needing change for the vending machines. We have offered to make it right and hope she takes us up on our offer.
