This place was wonderful. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked through the door. Our server knew the menu and was able to answer all of our questions. She provided excellent service never hovering but always making sure that our every need was satisfied. The food was top notch and the serving sizes were large enough that both ladies at our table had enough to take home for lunch tomorrow. They also had a great selection of seasonal beers on tap which was a real treat. I had been to Birra's a few years ago but honestly don't remember it being this good. I look forward to visiting again.

It had been years since we went to this restaurant, but we decided to this past Sunday, unexpectedly because we were trying to help some out of town friends figure out where to eat brunch, not too expensive and not too far from the airport as they were leaving that afternoon.

We chose to sit outside. The individual at the front desk could not find our reservation, and was less than interested in looking for it even though I gave him the individual's name I talked with, and begrudgingly said he would set up two tables. He was not welcoming, no smile, nothing. After a few minutes we went outside and sat down. The table cloth on one of the tables was really dirty and we requested from our server that it be changed. He came back and said they did not have any due to a wedding thing the night before. We placed napkins on the dirty spots. He took our drink order, did not offer any water, and returned with some drinks. A bottle of wine was ordered, he never returned, and when he finally did dropping off the bottle, it was the wrong item, when questioned, he said they were out of the other. Another wine was requested, he never returned, we had to go inside to talk to someone at the bar who told us we had an old menu and this wine too was unavailable! There was no communication at all! An alternate bottle was ordered from the bartender. This was a buffet brunch, the food was alright, but not great. It was sort of a makeshift setup. The place looks really worn out, and the carpet was dirty, no one was sweeping up, even in the ladies bathroom, the tank had a huge crack in it; it all just looked in sad need of repair and updating. Our waiter was simply awful as if he'd had no training whatsoever couple that with no motivation whatsoever! But, he did put a 20% gratuity on our bill!! He was certainly not a candidate for any tip, much less an amount one would award for outstanding service, he had no clue! We talked to the new manager a young woman who said she is trying to bring the place back, good luck! She gave us a couple of coupons for a small amount off, but who wants to go back there after that experience? They need to close and start from scratch, period!

Went there late, after a show and they assured us they served food til closing, but would only seat us in the bar along with a group of loud and obnoxious people. Another couple came in and ordered and when the bartender put our orders in, the cook came out yelling about wanting to go home! I ordered soup, ate about 1/3 of it when someone came out of the back, saw us and snickered. I quit eating, but too late. Was sick for 2 days!
The office door is one of the filthiest things I have ever seen! The vinyl floor leading to the back is rotted away along with the moulding. They had just mopped with dirty and foul smelling water (not a cleanser smell).
Whole experience was disgusting and the other couple was already gone when we left, guess they figured it out earlier than us -- as we only saw them get served their salads and not the meal they ordered. YUCK

There seems to be as many pizza choices as burger choices these days. There are the locals, the national chains and all in between but Birraporetti's is our favorite for the last year. The difference is in the crust. Any place can put the toppings on, but the crust is the life source of a pizza. This crust is thin, perfectly cooked on the bottom and the outsid edges bubble up with a light browning and brushed with garlic butter. Pick your own ingredients to personalize what you like. Order more than you need and take the rest home. The rest of the menu has some good choices but not gorment by any means but the prices match the quality. The inside needs some freshening but don't worry about it. The bar is active and plenty of beer choices and solid drinks and wine if you like.
