“Did not spend the night”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

This hotel was booked by a friend for the NCAA Final 4 weekend. We booked 2 rooms, mine smelled like a cesspool. We did not stay, left looking for other accommodations. If you need a bargain hotel within walking distance of AT&T stadium, which is why we booked, maybe this is ok. I was very uncomfortable and did not unpack.

Room Tip: Don't stay in an end room.

The motel is very old, probably early '60s. However it WAS CLEAN. You can only do some much makeover, over the years. The bath was remade recently with nice tile and fixtures, but hence no hot water? Probably 4 star when the old Texas stadium was built. Really nice pool in the center of the complex, with comfortable atmosphere. No extras though. No vending machines. C store across the street. BUT, It was so close to the new Jerry's World and a great price that all was forgiven. Especially after passing all the exit traffic, from the stadium, on foot! And back to relax in about 10 minutes. Good Mexican restaurant next door and a barbecue joint another 100 ft down the road.

I was there In Arlington for 10 days for some business reasons though I had options to go with some big name to stay, I chose ABVI initially i thought it is good option to stay because of cowboy stadium but I found this place has very good qualities which made my stay as an unforgettable experience.
“Bob” the hotelier is the best attender I have ever meet.

You should always book ABVI when you want to stay in Arlington. It is really best value for your money.

This hotel has been slammed by a few previous posters. Granted, it is not a five-star facility and it is a bit run down. For the price (mine was around $53/night), you can't expect too much more. I chose it for location, location, location. I was in town for an event at Cowboy Stadium and did not want the hassle of taxis or renting a car and parking. It served my purpose. The walk is a rather easy 1/2 mile to the stadium and you can easily walk to restaurants, convenience markets and such (although a good breakfast joint was a bit of a hike).

It does have a pool. The shower was fine. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was average.

My math in avoiding a rental car may have been off a tad. It ended up being a $40 one way fare (with tip) between the hotel and the airport (DFW). Parking at the stadium was in the $20 range for my event. If one did drive, I could have parked at the hotel and saved a few bucks.

The staff was very nice, but the housekeeping repeatedly knocked on my door in the morning even though I had a late check out. A bit annoying.

It is a dated facility, but for it's proximity to the stadium and price, it is an option if you want to enjoy a few pints before and after the game and not risk driving.

We came across this place late on a trip and had no where else to stay ths night. The room had a funny smell. Everything was clean. Beds were comfy. No ice machine here! Vending machine had toothpaste and mouthwash. I was kind of confused. MIcrowave and frige in room. The price was a bit high for one night. They had breakfast (bread for toast, doughnuts, coffee, juice). They had a pool but it did not appear to be clean as it had cigarette butts and a few cans around. The room was very quiet.

My family and I recently where in Arlington to watch the Texas Rangers play after searching for hours to find a room near the ball park that did not cost an arm and a leg, we came across America's Best Value Inn. The price was incredible and Robert, the manager was very friendly and eager to please all our needs. The huge swimming was plus as my family had a great time in it. The rooms were very spacious and Robert graciously put a roll away in the room, without charge to accomodate our bed space. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my best friend went to stay they for a weekend/vacation. The Hotel Stinks and smell like something died. The walls were stained, the TV was old, the door lock was broken, the breakfast was terrible, there weren't no blow dryer and clothing iron, the outlets was not near the bed, the carpets were dirty/nasty, they didn't give us our towels wen we ask for them, The toilet was broken, the sink was messed up, and our rooms has not been clean for 2 days. Worst hotel! Don't stay there. The prices were unreasonable.

Room Tip: Go to sleep Inn!! I'm going to try that next time
