We went to Six Flags Over Texas again after our initial experience was a disaster in which I made a complaint and they recified the situation by giving my family complimentary tickets to return. Although I hesitated to go back being that it was so hot and worried about long lines. I was totally wrong this time. We have a BLAST. We went to the park at noon and stayed til 7pm on a Thursday. We waited less than 20-30 minutes for some popular rides. Other rides was no wait time at all, we got in line and hop right on the ride. We even rode the new Texas Giant!

TIPS:To cool off get on a water ride first and walk around wet it will keep you and the kids cool for couple hours. Head to AQUAMAN Splashdown with whole family first. Every food stand will give you unlimited free small cups of icy cold water. Ask for it!

Six Flags is, without a doubt, fun - if you are into rollercoasters, that is. Word of warning - it gets packed ridiculously fast, Texas summers are ridiculously hot, and food and beverage prices in the park are ridiculously high. My advice - buy the tickets online (they almost always have a promotion), if you are planning to go more than once in a year, shell out for a season pass - it will pay for itself in the two visits, and come in the morning, when the park just opens to avoid the crowds and the heat.

Stayed at Six Flags over Texas for a whole-day for a celebration with the whole extended family. Park was clean, Staff was friendly and accomodating-Trolley service really helped to avoid an extra $15 parking fee as well as the hassle over a parking space. Rides were exhilerating and the wait was not all that long,We did have a flash pass as we had about 10 travelers with us, but it also helps if you can go later in the evening when the park is not as crowded. We had elderly family members traveling with us as well and this park had rides and entertainment for them to enjoy as well. Food sites were nearby and kept neat and clean. Was a beautiful and fun park. Excellent trip for family and friends!!

Six Flags is a great, fun theme park but you need to be aware of a huge problem they are having right now. There is either a "band of thieves" or dishonest employees that are stealing items out of the cubbies at the individual rides. DO NOT PUT ANYTHING OF VALUE IN THESE CUBBIES. Especially if you have a nice phone. If you absolutely have to take your iphone to Six Flags, please lock it up in a secure locker. NEVER, EVER put it in a cubbie. It will get stolen. My daughter and her friends had to learn this lesson the hard way.

First and foremost , I had visions of this being more of a thug infested , gang banging , bum sleeping /living amusement park after reading several comments. But since this vacation was already booked & I'm an optimistic man. I took the dive and it was more than worth it! Stayed @ the days inn (thank you trip advisor app!!) that included a complimentary shuttle that picked us up from the hotel and took us to the park and then brought us back to the hotel (even though from the days inn it's only a 12-15 minute walk to six flags)That in itself saved us $15.00 and we did not have to fight for a parking spot. There were several schools and other organizations at the park on this day Thursday June 2,2011 b/ there weren't any long lines (45 minutes tops) that's being reported. One sign said 1.5 hours before we were supposed to get on the ride but after timing the ride with a digital timer (compliments of my IOS device) the wait was actually 38 minutes. They were shuffling people in and out very rapidly. Dirty, slobby park????!! I did not see a dirty park. I seen a spotless park and if someone did drop something. There was an attendant not too far away that would handle things. Overall exp. Was awesome! NO complaints. Whole trip is and was simply awesome!
