Loved it! We will definitely come back again. It was fun watching and experiencing our son smiling ear to ear.

The track just gets better with time. The track seems to be growing in popularity. There are many plans for expansion. They just changed their fuel contract so they now have ethanol free gasoline at the pump, 93 and 100 octane up into higher octanes as well. Drive from Houston is not so bad. Look for the giant electrical cables passing over 288 and you are close to your turn.

I've been to this track a few times through Driver's Edge and charity events. It's a very nice track that's more technical than having long straightaways. It's a great track for novice folks where they can learn/practice basic techniques. It's no Nurburgring, but I feel it's also great for the intermediates and advanced to practice or have fun out on this track. They also have a seperate go-kart track where kids can also have fun with, so you can also make this a family event too.

You have to keep up with their schedule on their website, but we went to the exotic car races and it was a blast! The observation deck is close enough to the track to feel the building shake as they go by! The observation deck is a covered outdoor deck, but at least there's shade. We got to walk around, talk to the drivers, and take pictures with some of the cars, which was a high point for all the teenage boys in our group!
