Stayed here several days while on vacation.
Pros: Good location with easy access to/from I-40. The extra room of the 1-room suite was really nice. Room and lobby were clean & very pretty. Room included a microwave & minifridge which both worked well and were clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. Heat worked well, though a little loud,

Cons: Tub & toilet area is very small and if you are tall the shower will be low for you. Housekeeping could take more care - they left a rag from the previous tenant hanging on the shower rod, and there were lots of stains on the sofa. Tub didn't drain well.

If you are over 5 ft. showering will be uncomfortable. We were quite impressed with the breakfast. Room was not as clean as it should have been (hair in bathroom/tub). Beds were small and hard. Would probably stay at a different hotel next time.

Our family stayed here for over a week while having procedures done at the medical center. We were able to get a discount for that reason. The rooms were spacious and quite comfortable. I believe they must have remodeled fairly recently because the carpet seemed new and the bathroom, although small, had a newer looking shower rod that curves out. Everything was nice looking and very clean. There was a small fridge , microwave and a small sofa. Also a heated pool and hot tub.
We never partook of the breakfast so I can't comment. The only drawback to this property was that there was no elevator. Access to the room was covered outside stairwells and outside entry. That being said it still felt quite safe.Would I stay again? In a heartbeat.

This was one of the poorest places we stayed on our trip. The girl at the front desk was pleasant, and the room itself was just barely okay, but the toilet/tub area was very tiny; there was a used towel on the back of that door; the rest of the towels were dingy; the furniture was stained; the bed, although comfortable, had been made very sloppily; the mirror over the sink was dirty; and we had to go downstairs and ask for bath towels because there were none in the room. Needless to say, we won't be back.

We stayed here one night on our way across country in July 2006. We are a family of four - two boys, aged 11 and 6. We checked in late (11pm) and the desk staff was very friendly and quick. Our room was a standard budget hotel room but very clean and comfortable. A/C worked fine and rooms were quiet.

Continental breakfast was served in the morning (included with room price). Once again, nothing fancy but the cereal, donuts, bagels, toast, milk, orange juice, waffles, etc. were good enough to fill our bellies and get us back on the road again. The check out was quick and friendly again.

Only concern was carpet was a little grungy so I wouldn't have let infants crawl on it.

I stayed here for several days in August and thought it was a good quality place to stay. It isn't a luxury hotel but the rooms were a nice size and had a good layout and mine was very clean. The staff seemed a bit distracted at times, but they always took care of my requests. The pool area was very clean and well kept and a nice place to relax for awhile.

The only drawbacks were they were repaving the parking area while I was there and that was a bit inconvenient and I couldn't get my room cleaned if I stayed in until after noon. I was told the cleaning staff went home at 1:00pm.

They had a nice laundry faciltiy which came in handy and the place was in a good location. I would stay here again.

The Quality Inn and Suites was everything I expected and more.
1. The staff couldn't be any friendlier.
2. The room was spotless.
3. The ice machine was in the laundry room so no one could hear it.
4. The Hot breakfast was a great start to the day. Much better than the typical "Continental Breakfast" you normally get.
5. All of the appliances and furnishings in the room were in great shape.
6. The best part was, the rate. Very reasonable.

I hope they keep up the good work. And the next time I am in Amarillo, I with out a doubt will stay there.
