Very good location right off the interstate.

Rooms were clean and beds were okay for hotel beds.
Front staff was 50/50 one was nice, one was crabby, maybe just a long day?

Breakfast was okay with a bit of variety, eggs/biscuits, cereals, etc.

I enjoyed my stay, and was pleased with the price, the room, the breakfast, the Ihop and McDonald's within walking distance, and the grassy areas all around the hotel for dogs to do their business. The drawbacks were the hotel's awkward location on an access road and poor water pressure in the shower. All in all a good, basic place to stay.

By Days Inn standards (usually poor), this one is one of the nicer ones w hot breakfast and 5 floors w elevator. Rooms are avg but clean. My problem w this hotel was very poor internet signal to all rooms and very slow. Secondly, mgmt was not willing to look into the problem..blamed it on the metal doors of rooms (which makes their advertisement of high speed internet false)

I wrote a review a few years ago on this one and recommended it, but have just had a recent stay. This will most likely be our last stay at this one (for the price, can probably do better now.) The room was "okay", although noisy being next to the interstate. Their full "hot" breakfast that I had factored into the price should no longer be advertised as such. After a late arrival, we got to breakfast shortly before 8:00 a.m. There was no milk for the cereal (one man was eating his without it), there was only a few cold scrambled eggs (maybe enough for 1 person); their orange juice was one part juice, 3 parts water (to save money I suppose); something unidentifiable in a crockpart (grits, oatmeal, gravy - not sure). So we wound up going elsewhere for breakfast. Amarillo also has a higher tax on their rooms than other places, so even though the "rate" was not bad, by the time they add their taxes, it wasn't such a good deal. If you are trying to be "cost-conscious" in your travels these days, you can probably find a better stay elsewhere. If you aren't concerned about breakfast being included, ask for a room farthest from the interstate and it might be okay for a night.

Got there at 1 a.m. Was worried they had given up our room since it was so late, but they hadn't.

Check in was fast.

The rooms were comfortable and roomy. All we did was sleep, so really can't comment on anything else. We slept thru the breakfast...it was from 6 a.m. to 9 am. Check out was quick.

Not quite halfway thru my shower, the water pressure went down to a trickle and the water got cold. That wasn't too much fun, but sure did wake me up!!!!! That was my only complaint. Other than that, the rooms were nice, comfortable and quiet.

Stayed numerous times as a business related stay. Many blue collar workers ( company stays) stay here. The hotel is nice and convient for the price. One room I checked into smelled smoky and I was put into another room. One of my co-workers stayed in a non-smoking room and smoked and was charged a hefty fee for the violation. For free breakfast how easy is it to bring a tray from the room. Most hotels I've stayed in don't provide trays. I spend half of my year in hotels four star to no star and this property is nice for the price. Very helpful friendly staff.
